What's this worth?

Posting some pics of an Allis I'm looking to buy. (Apologies for the junk!)
Serial number is 068568. Guy wants $1000 Aussie dollars for it, good value? Doesn't run, though I was told it was running five years ago where it sits now.
Has a Lucas electrical system but a Marvel carbi?
No linkage. Good tyres, no cracks, holding air. Tinwork good. Any input will be greatly appreciated,

Around here an Allis C in that condition is worth a little more than scrap value. Figure $300-$400 US dollars (I'm not sure how it converts to Aussie dollars). If it was running $500-$1000.

Massey,
Did the Allis's shipped to Australia all have the Lucas electrics or has someone converted it? Were these tractors built in England or the US?
Also, it would be real interesting to see what it says on that plate on the hood right above the oil filter.
With good tin, good tires, and an unsiezed engine, I'd give $800 US for it any day of the week!

I'm not sure about the countries of production for this model. I did read somewhere, that the "B's" were assembled both in the U.S. as well as England. Maybe these as well, as Lucas electrics on an American build would seem a strange match.
Don't think she's been converted, though. Maybe someone can chime in and answer that question.

If it's a B it's a 1944 model if it's a C it's a 1949 model. I don't know one from the other on those models

I dont know if it has any relation or not but I have a triumph motorcycle (built in england) with lucas elec.
