Wheat cutting started then oppsie

I got trucks parked,not a bad line unloading ,on second load i heard a squeak on combine.thought it was a sickle squeaking. WRONG returned to get load 3 and the squeak become a BANG BANG. Upon examination 1 of those anit grease soon to sieze bearings went out.the bearing that drives the shoe.so we are done till monday

Dont feel bad we got rained out. Only a 10 % chance and a nice big cloud dumps on us. A mile in an direction its dry. Got hay and straw on the ground but I finished the wheat before it hit. Wont even mentioned I have to replant all my beans

I can feel for you,we got some beans in ,our ground dont no till very good so worked ground is swampy the wheat ground is holding us up but by a thin margin.hope we get rest of beans planted maybe 700 acres left 200 are up somehow

I guess I should brag on my old combine, cut all the wheat with out a problem and the a/c worked great, not bad for 35 years old. I run some corn with it every year just to keep it in working order.
