I have an industrial 40 here and everything matches the data sheet except the wheelbase, I've even matched up several parts as the only thing I have saying it's an MF40 is the hood. The Data sheet says it should be 84 inches, but my tape measure says it is 75 inches. the only thing that I can see is maybe the measurement in the data sheet is for a standard transmission and this tractor has the auto with instant reverse making it a few inches shorter. anyone have any thoughts or ideas about it??

Ours has the 3 cylinder Perkins gas and is definitely a 40. I wouldn't take that difference too seriously. If it was a few inches difference, then maybe ... The MF40 was produced over a number of years and there were changes along the way.
