Wheel hubs

I'm changing the brake shoes on my 52 8N. On the left side the whole hub just slipped off the spindle on the right side it won't budge. I don't think it's supposed to come right off like that. What gives?

Lake County ,Your left hub and maybe the axle is worn at the splines and needs replaced to stay tight.

Good information I'm pretty sure my left rear seal is bad and probably the hub and axel shaft. Learning a lot about this tractor of mine mostly bad news but fun to work on.
