Welcome to the forums.

Is this a metal shell seal? If so, you take the diameter of the shaft the seal runs on, the bore it fits in, and the width of the seal a parts store or bearing supply house may be able to match one up. Also, careful cleaning of the seal may reveal a number. Likewise, the bearings.

I have the bearing number. The seal is steel with a lip.The rubber is cracked and some pieces are missing. No numbers to be found on the seal. Thanks for your response. I will check with some of the tractor repair shops in my area.

Do you have a NAPA, independent Parts store or a bearing supply house, like Motion, near you? If so measure the surface of the spindle the seal runs on. Take that measurement and the old seal (as long as it is not bent up, to those type places and they should be able to come up with a seal by the dimensions. If you have set of calipers and can make and post those measurements, you might get some possibles from the guys here. You have an aftermarket axle so finding it in the parts book, to give you a part number, is unlikely.

This is a long shot but may be a starting point. The MH44 parts book shows a front wheel seal number of 21334A, which crosses to National 6336S for one brand and SKF 15707 for another. If they used the MH hubs on the Schwartz axle spindles, that might be it.

That’s good to know because I’m also getting ready to start on my 1952 Massey 44 narrow front. Thanks for the seal numbers.👍
