i have been unsuccessfully looking for wheel weights for my 8n. antique tractor auctions, swap meets, craigslist, flea markets, etc and haven't found a thing. at the swap meet yesterday i probably found ten sets for john deeres and cubs, same thing at the auctions. lots for other makes and not one single ford weight at all. are ford ones rare or hard to find or something? for the 8n in particular?

You can use the inside (or outside) the rim style weights that attach to the 6 rim bolts on your 8N.

Alternatively, you can use the later style Ford segment (pie) weights but I would recommend only the light (30 lb./segment) variety. If you use the heavy (45 lb./segment) variety I would recommend installing only 6 segtments per side.

The pie type weights are easier to find but more expensive.

Look for a set called rolloft ? made in Kaukauna Wis. They come in 3 sections, and will fit your tractor. Where are you located?

i had a hard time finding them untill i made a deal with a guy trying to sell his 9n on craigslist. I then found out the guy that i bought all my engine rebuild parts from had 4 sets of the rears and another 3-4 sets for the fronts.

I have no idea on the price of frieght, but it would fit nice on a pallet.

here is his information.

he has many, but what do you guys mean about when you say they go inside of the wheel, i have only seen the one piece full 380 circle weights, that can be mounted on the inside or out side of the wheel that uses the loop bolts(longer than stock bolts) to hold them.
