wheel weights

just purchased a 1948 w9 with a set of rear wheel weights i have never seen before. IH#255307 R1. got to be close to 1,000 lbs each. does anyone know anything about these weights.

Thought that when first looked. But tire has 34 on it and wheel is for use with a 34. Way made on outside I would guess use with special equipment of somekind.

U see the splines on the heavy hub. That goes on your axle and the current cast center rim and wheel get replaced.

This was the “heavy option” that heavy cast center with 23.1-26 rim and tire. Not sure how that’s bolted together. And yes those are heavy. I have that setup o. A swd9 and I have another set I plan on Putting on a swdr9.

So the 4 bolt holes in bottom picture that face rim will match the top wheel weight holes if reversed and mounting bolts go through top wheel and thread into holes in weights? Makes sense but can't find the part number that he shows.

Anyone out there know what the weight of the weights is?

Has to be close to 1000 each my 773 bobcat will just lift the pallet with both on. It will just manage a 2000 lb tote of soybeans as a reference

I weighed the weights and they are 960lbs each. The 4 bolt pattern is out by about 1/4”. Drilled holes in hub to 7/8 to make them fit. Put my w9 over by 300lbs and had to take them off. I stacked 5 sets of w9 150lb weights to make it work
