In non-cut tire 5500-6500 lbs classes on a track that takes sharp tires to get a bite which tires are better; 45 degree or 23 degree. It seems like the tire of the day is either a F&R or an old good year 45 degree. I got my M running real good and plan to "enhance" it this winter but I can see I need better tires before next year. I am pulling non cut tire 1st gear "farm stock" classes with 15.5x38 F&R and have no shortage of power. I am planning on going to 14.9x38 over the 15.5x38 because it seems like the .2 mph does make difference. I guess I have another question in that I have a line on set of 14.9x38 23 deg general tires that are taller that just about anything and was wondering how the wider lug does.
