I plan on doing some repair/body work on high impact plastic fenders/etc that I've put off for too long. Just wonder what is the latest practice. Thanks

JBWeld and Devcon are ancient technology on plastic repair. "Fusor" brand makes the best stuff but it is extremely pricey. Instead of buying a whole kit maybe a local body shop will just sell you what you need?

Fusor sells modern bonding adhesives for metal to fiberglass, fiberglass to fiberglass, fiberglass to plastic, metal to metal etc. Just about anything you need.

Portions of the new Dodge truck cabs, Chevrolet Malibu's etc are glued together with Fusor-no welds.

Here you go.

Fusor makes great stuff. If you check out the link they make multiple adhesives for plastics. I would call them to get the best one.

Any local napa store etc can get it for you.

A friend is in the auto body business. At a clinic the fusor rep glued two pieces off sheet metal together. 20 minutes later they put it on a hydraulic porta pull and the metal tore. The glued joint never came apart.
