Which way to do it??

Well that would mean hauling jacks etc. to it out in the field where as airing it up and taking it to the shop all I have to do is take the small compressor to it and only make one trip
Why did you suggest that option and then attack the guy who encouraged you to use the option that you suggested????

Then - why did I click on this post when I knew the outcome before I hit the button??

Just fix it and don't bother us with the details.

I swore that I would never click on another post after the refrigerator post, but here I am frustrated again. . .

Why because I am not suppose to walk very much or very far or carry or lift more the 35lbs for the rest of my life. Being a D.A.V. I have to limit what I do and how i do it or never walk again

My Farmall BA has a rear flat tire. I plan to put slime in it but the way the valve stem sits right now to put slime in it I have to rotate the tire. So do I air it up and them let the air out and put the slime in and then air it back up. Or do I air it up drive it to the shop where I have chain hoist etc to make it easier to work on and the n let the air out and put the slime in and then air it up and let it sit an spin the tire around the spread the slime around inside the tire?? By the way the way I have to air it up in the field is a small battery powder air compressor so very slow to do but the shop on the other hand has a big air compressor with a large tank so airing it back up is pretty fast
slime don't work with a tube in the tire and your tire has a tube fix it right the first time and you might have fluid in it also

Old says? “Ok fellers, I do have a serious what should I do question now & need answer quick!! I’m out in the shed working on tire & have strong urge….should I drop my pants & crap on ground or take a chance on making it back to the toilet at the shack without messing my drawers?”

I would sit down and try to think of someone I knew in the tire business, like maybe a retired guy that used to repair hundreds of tractor tires that could come over to look the situation over and advise me on the best way.

Slime does in fact work with a tire that has a tube. My Oliver S88 has a tube and slime in one rear tire and it has held air ever since I put the slime in 2 or 3 years ago

Whether it's raining or not would be in play here.

Call your local tire guy and have him come out a put a new rim, new tire and tube on it.
Edit: I removed most of the original content of this reply. It served its purpose of proving I am “ignored” by the OP. Had I not been I would have most likely been given a dose similar to reply 48.
Wonder how long his ignore list is? I think this thread looks quite different to him?

i think i'd put a tube in it where it sits. between you and your step son it should go pretty fast. if you want to have a dance, you got to pay the band. good luck
