White 2-135 engine?

Are the engines in an early 2-135 Hercules engines? Are they a separate company from White or did White own part of them?

the 2-135 was a pure hercules engine tractor. this engine was used multiple times by white oliver, they are in the 2050 and 2150 for oliver and in the 2-135 and 1-155 for white. white is the owner of hercules engines, they used them in there trucks too.

2050 was D4800, 2150 was DT4800, 2-135 and 2-155 were DT5000. All 478 cubes, and many similarities, but also many differences internally.
