White 272 disk

My son is looking at a White 272 disk. I have no experience with this make or model of disk. I have had an Ez-on disk years ago and it had issues with rocks, ridging and missed tillage in the center between the gangs.
I would like to hear the good, bad or indifference on this make and model. It's listed as a 31 foot so would a 2-135 handle it in heavy clay loam and sandy loam? Two wheeler with duals.
What about changing bearing disks etc is it a reasonable job or a real beggar?
I personally would lean towards an offset disk over the double disk but everyone has to start somewhere considering price.
Thanks for any comments suggestions or advice.

(quoted from post at 10:27:38 02/24/23) A 2-135 wouldn't want a thing to do with a 31 ft disc around here unless you were not gonna put it in the ground .

Thank you. I suspected that.
