White 543 Planter - Drive Plate

I let a neighbor borrow the White 543 planter. Somehow he broke one of the the Drive Plates. The little round white thing that goes on top of the seed plate retainer. It is the same plate shown on Oliver and a Ford 352.
Agco and CaseIH both show as unavailable.
Does anyone have a source for the Drive Plate or any suggestions on where I might find one. I've been unsuccessful. My local AGCO dealer said he did a nationwide search and called an old time dealer to no avail.
Any help much appreciated.

Try this number 270 528 2133 ask for Larry he use to salvage old White and ford planters. Also I will check if I might still have one.

I used Mudcreek's contact and got one tracked down.
Thank you gentlemen for your responses. Hopefully will be back in business soon.

Well - my prior source didn't work out - wrong parts sent.
So if any other ideas - I would much appreciate any leads.
On the AGCO website; if you search 543 Planter; Seed Hopper; it is #14 in the diagram and part number W246846B.
absent finding one - I guess I have a 3 row planter; or simply make it a 2 row.
I know someone has one sitting in the bushes someplace - let me know - thanks.

Your posted question got me wondering about planter seed plates. We primarily planted corn and soybeans, but also forage sorghum a time or two, too. I hadn't thought about this since it has been on the order of 40 years since we had our last planter requiring seed plates, and I was about 10 years old when we last had our 694 Deere planter. I seem to recall our seed dealer having plates on hand, which we could buy or use if need be. I also remember having a lot of plastic planter plates for that planter. The soybean plates were metal, however. I also remember using a particular plate for planting forage sorghum a time or two, as well. Prior to that planter, we had an IH pull type planter, but I couldn't even venture a guess as to what model it was, but I suspect it was bought in the early 1960's. So here's my question: Were planter plates standardized by the time we got into the 1960's or into the 1970's, before there was any such offering of an air planter or plateless planter? When I ask about being standardized, I am asking if one had a Deere planter or an IH planter of similar vintage, could the different makes of planters use the same plates, or were the plates unique to the particular brand and even model of planter?
