White 549 plows

Were the White 549 plows made in 4 bottom version with a 16 cut?

I believe they were five (5) bottom main frame minimum. I also think that most were 18 changeable to 20, or 20 to 22 in some very late ones. but perhaps in the early Oliver, maybe 16 & 18, but I dont think so. 548 were 16/18, 588 18/20. Width of cut is determined by wedges in or out on the beams and tail wheel bracket. There were some 5 bottom onland built in 588 & 598 as well.

549 was 5 plus add-ons. 598 was variable
Width. 549 is a great plow!

I was wrong, the 549's were 16 & 18 width of cut.
