White 6065 not starting?

I have a white 6065 that doesn’t start, I’ve been starting it off the starter solenoid, but now it doesn’t even start off that, any help would be appreciated.

Does it click when you short the solenoid? Will the lights turn on? If they do what happens to the lights when you short the solenoid? Have you checked the battery terminal connections and cleaned them? What is the battery voltage? The need to short it at the solenoid needs investigated, could be starter switch, or neutral or clutch safety switch.

When I jump the tractor at the solenoid it just sparks, battery has voltage but my lights don’t turn on, but I don’t know where the neutral safety switch is.

We need a battery voltage number by a meter. Do you know if the lights worked previously? If they did probably a good indication that the battery is low on charge, but could be a battery cable terminal connection problem. Again have you looked at them or cleaned them?

The lights not turning on would indicate loss of power somewhere, if they were working previously as used red just asked. The lights and starter may or may not be related. Does it have a fuse panel or circuit breakers? Have you checked them? Does your White have a transmission neutral switch (Transmission has to be in neutral or park) or a clutch pedal switch (you have to have the pedal down to start it)? Does it have a PTO safety switch? You are going to have to do some testing with a voltmeter or test light. Do you have the manuals for it?
