white smoke

I have a ford 3000 and if I have not started it a couple of days it takes ether to get it started,if I run it for a couple of hrs it will crank on its on for as long as I use it but when it is running it has white smoke comming out of the Exhaust. What does the white smoke indicate does any one have a clue???

It is water getting into the combustion chambers and needs to be taken care of NOW as it is VERY detrimental,as it will wear the cylinders walls VERY FAST. Pull the plugs out and you will see which cylinder or cylinders are getting the water/and or coolant. CENTAUR

Okay when I find out what cylinder it is what do I need to do? Take it some where?

Probably a blown head gasket. You will need to pull the head. These tractors are quite simple actually. I wouldn't consider taking it somewhere for that.
If you are willing to tackle the job yourself I and probably several others here would be glad to help you through it.

You leaky head gasket is probably also reducing your compression.. thus the need for ether to start when cold.

It could be a head gasket issue. It could also be a bad injector on an already near worn out engine. A 3 cylinder needing ether to start suggest to me that it's more than likely worn out unless a head gasket issue is affecting 2 cylinders...
