Who are you ignoring?

Well I just checked my list and was accidentally ignoring several people. I guess it's time to check again

It's easy to do unknowingly and when you cancel the ignores the designation for not ignoring is ignoring. Go figure.

I've never intentionally put anyone on "ignore". I guess i need to go see if someone might be there.

Glad you posted this!

I went and looked in my profile and found that I WAS ignoring one poster. No idea how that happened, as I do not hit the "ignore" on anybody - I just do it myself, by not reading their posts.

Click the "Ignoring" button... and it will show who you are ignoring".
Then you can click on "UNignore".

OK, where is Profile and how can I hit ignore if I don't know where to ignore. I have seen it other places and I have ignored once in a while but I thought you could tell if you had someone on ignore by seeing when they were quoted. I have never seen any sign of it here on my screen. I am so computer ignorant....but I like it that way. I will try to find it but will never remember, after my next nap. My excuse is "I took a nap since then"....James

I accidentally hit the ignore button on someone this past week. Pretty easy to do I discovered, I’m left handed and scroll on the left side of the screen, over everyone’s info. Somewhere in there is an ignore button that one can activate by scrolling and dragging with a bit of a finger bump.

OK, I found profile from the big blue dot with the J at the top of the page. I found I had 2, 1 new member and 1 with more than 6000 posts. I would never had known anything about it. I know I have seen posts by him recently, have no idea when and how it happened. Still can't find the ignore button. I come here through the forum page. I may be missing things....James

Click on your icon - on my screen, yours shows as a purple circle with a white "J" in it. Clicking that, will take you to your profile (at least it does on my phone).

You might have to scroll down a bit to see the "Ignored" button.
It is to the right of the "Privacy" button.

Yes found that. I see it as blue but whatever. I found the ignored button and was surprised I had 2. I still can't find the ignore button anywhere, I have a Chromebook. I don't see as the poster above explained explained....James

Thanks. I went back and see how you did it. I see the ignore button when I scroll over. I didn't even know it would pop up when scrolled over or hovered over. Ignore is way down there at the bottom. Is there some other way as I have never seen that....James

So totakly unsure how I ever ignored a poster... as I don't usually click on anybody's icon (which I think is actually called their avitar).

You have to open a members profile to ignore them. On a PC the profile “avatar” is to the left of their reply box, such as mine is a teal(light green” circle with a U in it click that and you will see the “Ignore” button. I do believe the only way to “unignore” someone is through your own profile as others have described.

You can’t ignore yourself!! I don’t view on a PC but you have to ..”open”.. your own profile to see this. Same as if you are setting your Preferences. If it’s too complicated click your profile above to open it, the T in the light brown or yellow circle in the banner menu at the top right of the page.
