Anybody every here of this brand of plow. A friend of mine has one and he found the name on the plow. its a horse drawn walk behind plow. It has a broken mold board and he's hoping to maybe find one somewhere. I told him he has a better chance of finding big foot but I guess neither is 0 chance. When looking for plow parts sometimes odd names come up but I have never seen this name come up anywhere.

My buddy said he did a search for Wiard plows that didn't show much but the company but I just did one and some places came up with maybe parts. Apparently a more common name that I knew about. I'll give him a couple of web sites and see what he comes up with.

Where are you located ,walk behinds currently best reside in Amish locals .
Last spring there over twenty plus walk behinds at bundysberg road auction close to Middlefield,Ohio

Thinking upstate NY, Ward O'Hara ag museum had one so Auburn maybe ?
Believe company became a John Deere acquisition, reason for John Deere Boulevard
in Syracuse.

John Deere acquired the Syracuse Chilled Plow Co in Syracuse, NY which was refitted into JD's NE distribution center. I've got a Wiard in marginal condition and believe that was also made in Syracuse, NY. An interesting project to attempt would be a book of all the farm equipment that was designed or produced in the region west of Albany, NY.

Wiard Plow Co was in Batavia, NY. A friend had one that ended up in a dumpster with his other old plows after he died.
I have forgotten what I knew about this, but, as I recall, multiple members of the family moved about and engaged in the plow making business. So different dates and locations may be confusing, but not necessarily untrue.

Wiard was located in Batavia NY and was never part of JD. It sold to Gale Manufacturing from Detroit MI in 1951 and closed in 1954. It was turned into a business park and most of it burnt down in 2010.

If the plow has a 218B mold board.

Contact Burch Store Tractors in NC and see if they still have some NOS mold boards for Wiard plows. Burch Store is the place to go when looking for hard to find new and used parts.

Batavia, that's it. Have a Syracuse chilled plow somewhere here. I remembered the
wrong backside of the moldboard. Have seen plenty of Wiard plows at auctions over the years.
Thanks for setting me straight and the tip on finding old plow parts. Guess the fastest way to get the
correct answer is to post the wrong one. LOL

Have you ever heard of a Moore? Made in Greenville Michigan. The factory was along the Flat River next to the Gibson refrigerator factory.

During the 50’s-60’s there was a Wizard Company that built bicycle lawn mowers and tillers etc. Could that been a spinoff of Wiard. White Auto stores sold them locally.

Western Auto carried Wizard brand home equipment. We had a two wheeled garden tractor. My Bicycle that came from the same store was a "Western Flyer" however.

I should have gone down to look at mine last night but I would have to dug it out from under a few other things. Started to get cold outside when we were talking about it last night.
