Wide front Front wheel weights

I"m still new to Allis"s, so please forgive my ignorance, but I have a WD45 I am converting from a narrow to wide front. I have a set of front wheel weights on the tractor currently and was wondering if I can use them on the wide front set up. My concerns are will the extra weight wear out the wide front parts quicker and will it be more difficult to steer?

Also I have seen the front stackable weights and am wondering if that would be a better option?

I have a set of front wheel weight on my WD 45 and they work great,and they look great too.

I have seen 2 wheelers weighted 3 different ways. Cast wheel weights, fluid in the front tires, and frame-mounted weights. While they all add extra strain to front end components, it seems the ones with wheel weights or fluid began to shimmy and wear long before the ones with frame weights. My 2 cents worth.

With adding the wide front end you are adding as much weight if not more to the tractor as the narrow front with the wheel weights. With a wide front adding weight to the wheels will make it harder steer and its harder on the front end. The stack weights are the ones used on a D series tractors but they will work on the WD and WD45 and there not cheep to buy. Bandit
