Yes.Although wides are rare in the midwest corn belt, they are common in irrigated and 'vegatable' areas(sugar beets,onions,potatoes.....)

where you located there pretty common around me in new jersey I know few guys that may have one sitting around if its worth the drive for you

I'm in Conway Arkansas. My brother bought a bike up in the Northeast somewhere and he will have to go get it soon. If I could find a front end that was reasonable I could get him to pick it up while up in that region. Have you got one?

Yes but you will learn to hate it. I did because I had to use one every spring planting and setting up Tobacco land. We had to use a wide front because our land was sandy and the narrow front would eat up too much power just pushing through. The wide fronts are very hard to turn and the tractors become hard to maneuver because of the long wheel base and the long turning radius. Under continued use they will also wear out the worm gear because of the hard turning. Just thought you aught to know.

I got one UPS'd out of New Egypt, N. J. from a guy who does business as M & M Repairs - no bends, cracks nor repairs. That was several years ago. If you cant find his number, shoot me an e-mail, but it probably won't get answered 'till Sunday or Monday. Don't know if he's in business yet or not. Lmack said it about right, but as I use my SC only for parade/tractor ride duty it's OK and I just like the looks of it. However, if it's a working tractor, I'd sure think twice - very hard steering and very long turn radius compared to the tricycle front end. It is a pretty flimsy design too.

I have wide front on a 54 model has some repairs but works fine , located in central louisiana , if interested call 318 542 0896.
