Bring it home/have it delivered when she's not around...park it in the shed or somewhere else she won't see it. Hold off using it
for a while, so when she asks about it, you can say you've had it for a "long time". Works better if it looks like one you already
have... she may not notice for some time!

I own, well actually dad bought so been around a long time, a Ford 7700 with cab.

Went to an auction and a nice Ford 5200 came home with me, wasn?t expecting to get it.

Went up the next morning and drove it home the 60 miles, parked it in the yard. Went out to the field and combined in the afternoon.

Wife came home from work, when she saw me she asked why I took the cab off the tractor?

That was funny.
