Will the loader fit?

Would anyone out there know if an older international 2000 loader would fit on my 1976 IH 574?

The 2000 could have been sold with brackets to fit several different types of tractors. Unless it came off a 574 or another of the "74 series" Utility tractors, it will not be a bolt on fit.

If you have the brackets or can get them they will fit on the 574. I would find a 2050 series A for it though. That is what is on our 574 works good.

I bought a 2000 U loader off a 656 utility
and mounted it on a Farmall 460 row crop and
fit perfectly and works beautifully. Not
sure if that's help at all. But knowing
international you prabably won't have a
problem.

The loader intended for the 74 series tractors was the 2050 series A loader. IH quit building 2000 loaders about 1972. There were no brackets made to attach a 2000 onto the 74 series tractors. However..... if you have engineering and design skills you could alter the subframe of a 2000 loader to adapt to a 574. You would also need to design and fabricate the needed front mounting brackets to fit the 74 tractor. Pictures below show how the subframe front mounts are different on the 2050A and 2000. Loader info below states that 2250 Mount-o-Matic loader fits 574. There is a 2050A loader listed for sale in Kentucky now on TractorHouse.com. Pictures do not show the front brackets with the loader so they may not be included.
