winter is coming fast here

Its been the worst summer on record for rainfall, and the past 3 weeks have been a drought. The leaves on many trees are turning brown and falling very early this year. 1st week in September is more like 1st week in October.
There is talk of a severe winter here because the weather for the whole year has been similar to 1946/47 when this Country suffered one of its worst winters with deep snow & frost for weeks.
And we noticed in the large department store near here last week they have the Christmas decorations on sale already !!!
Anyone seen Santa yet? LoL.

Our weather in the states has been odd this summer, too. Here in North Carolina where it is normally lush we have had very little rain all summer. Other parts of the country, like the midwest which are normally drier have had so much rain there has been flooding. We hope every day when the clouds form in the afternoons for some shade and rain.

Same conditions here in CT.Foilage will not be spectacular this year.I just hope the winter doesn't get to surly.Enjoy what you have now and please keep the pics coming.
