Wire Loom Question

Hey all,

I'm finally getting back on track with my 48 8n. I tried to upload a pic the other day but my computer didn't cooperate.. Anyway I have started mounting several of the parts the tractor. Since it's a 48 of course has a front mount distributor. I'm a little uncertain about which wires are supposed to run through the wire loom that mounts on top of the cylinder head. I believe all the spark plug wires run through there, but what about the electrical wiring that runs to the generator (on the right hand side?) I don't have the original (cloth type) spark plug wires, so it seems that it would be an awefully tight fit to try to run the ignition wires along with the electrical wires going to the generator. If necessary I'll run the electrical wires behind the water pump and over to the generator.

Thanks!
Scott

Run a clothes hanger into the tube from the front, and put a small hook on the other end. Hook the genny, and coil wire on the hook, then take elect. tape and tape the wires off at the hanger. Slowly pull the hanger back out the front with the wires attached. Be careful not to pull the wire ends off.
