my 1949 case vac has been converted to 12 volt , my alternator isn't charageing , po wired this thing up with a pull switch to open when charging , need to know the proper way from the altanator to the switch , it has a resistor behind the gage panel , how can I check and see if this altnator is charging or not because of all this jeery rigging that was done
