Wiring/Lighting for 12v B

My B is a 12 volt system with a three wire alternator. I recently got some headlights and a tail light. I am
trying to figure out how to wire them up with my current system. I would like to put in a new three position
switch. Been reading a lot of old posts and wiring diagrams on here, but I am starting to get confused as to
what I all need besides wire. Do I need to get some sort of voltage regulator and if so, where would it go? Is
a fuse needed somewhere since there isnt one built into a three position switch?

Lights are a very simple circuit

You would need wire, switch, fuse (20 amp) and holder,and 12 volt lamps, wire ties and connectors. Hot battery source to fuse, to switch, and wire lights in parallel.

Don't need separate regulator as regulator is built into alternator.

Your switch can be as simple or complex as you want to make it. A simple on/off switch to control all lights, or multi position switch to control front, back, or both

Here is a diagram that is for a nearly original 6v system. Just disregard the fact that it is a positive ground setup. It shows a fuse on it. Please reply with any questions.
Edit: You can also pull the power for the fuse for your lights directly off the ammeter named ..charge indicator.. on this diagram. Since you do not have a regulator one of the side of your ammeter will hook to the battery feed for the starter. The terminal on the opposite side of the meter from its power feed is where you would power your lights.

Note that the rear light connects to a different switch terminal than the front lights. The rear light is always on bright where as the front lights have a dim and bright setting.

just use the original four position sw you will not use the hi- charge part as it will Do nothing but the D' and 'B' and fuse will be used.
