bought a 9n that has been changed from a 6 volt
system to a 12v with a alternator.the original
starter button has also been changed to a starter
solenoid push button that hangs down under the dash.not
sure if it's all hooked up right.any help would be
appreciated.

robert........uh? I know 8-ways to convert to 12V and the all work the first time ...but... I flunked mind reading, just ask my ex-wife of 32yrs. We don't charge by how many words you use, so a better descriptions would be helpful. Surprizingly enuff, the original SAFETY jiggle switch works just fine on 12V. I know of 3 12V solenoids, and only ONE works in tractor conversions. Also need to know iff'n yer 12V alternator is a 3-wire like GM and Delco intended with an "idiot" lite ...or... modern 1-wire abomination. .......Dell, a 12V advocate for the right reason

why on earth did they disconnect the manual start switch when going to 12v.. the 6v manual switch would work just fine.. some people are so ignorant it must hurt.. ????
