Wisconsin engine AGN head

Looking for a head for on old Wisconsin AGND. Ditch witch H12 ran good for a few hours. Head had been welded several times it seems. I might try again myself but if I could get a head that would be great.

Looks like you would be money ahead if you replaced it with a Predator or similar engine. IMHO.

Am I missing something? The cracks I see are in the block, not the head. I see cooling fins missing on the head. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think that block is salvageable.

Wisconsin calls the part you need a cylinder head block.

Where are you located??? I have at least 3 of those engines not sure what models I have but I have a number of them

Unless you can get a usable cylinder block (not head) and eat the cost and labor, a replacement engine will serve far longer. Preditor engines are good. Jim

Check FB Marketplace. I am currently rebuilding a AGND that stripped gear teeth from the cam and governor. There were 3 engines on marketplace from $50 - $200 which were candidates for donor status. Turned out I could get all the parts I needed NOS and for surprising reasonable money. Talk to:

He sells gasket sets and seems to have a good supply of NOS parts. He might even have just the cylinder head block if you want to go that direction.

Thank you, I did mean block. I expect I will be spending way more money keeping this engine running. I did research the Preditor engines and that sounds like a good upgrade.
