Wont be getting the 600 Case

My contact that had the "600" Case came into my office today,he asked me point blank,do you want the Case Combine.I said yes I do.I asked him if he had decided on a price(he paid 100.00),he asked me,are you going to store it inside,I said yes.He then told me I want 500.00 for it.I flatly said I wasnt interested in that.Ready to counter,he got mad,and said fine I will take the motor off and put it on a grinder.I politely said ok,he walked out.End of the "600" venture.

Its ok,keeps me focused on my "A6" Case,and all my other tractor projects.

You win some,you lose some.

Anybody else have any losing some stories?

Oh Yeah ... I bid on a mint condition Moline Plow wooden wagon tongue one time. I gave up a $180.00. I talked to the man that bought it. His wife was going to use it to decorate the wall of her restaurant. I gave him my name and told him if she decided it wasn't going to work let me know. Saw him at an auction several months later. I told him I was going to drop by for dinner on my way home from the sale to see the restaurant and the wagon tongue. I was informed it didn't fit in so they tossed it on a brush pile and burned it. What a MORON!!

$500 That was a Steal Price! You should have took him up on it,I sure would have !So he was making some profit we all do on some things others we lose some $$ on our deals.

Theres more to the story,the hopper is all smashed up because he tied the header to it,supposely too transport, and really did a number to it,motor is stuck,and more,yea,if it was running and no hopper damage,yea,its worth 500
