My brother dropped off a piece of applewood from a tree he cut down at his farm
He wanted a spoon made from it
Today I made some ,,,the limb is knotty,,but Im gonna make as much stuff as I can for him,,this is what I made tonight

The peelings are cooked down,,and strained,,now they are in the fridge till tomorrow,,didnt add the sugar in,,when the applebutter is done,,will can both .

Back in the '50s we made bread/cutting boards in 4-H. We put them in an oven, heated them up and rubbed paraffin into the wood.
