wooden floor

[tom kania]

what year was the last year to get awooden floor in a truck bed ?

[old]

I know Chev still had them in 1969 I have one here that had a wooden bed in it but it has long since rotted away

Ford Flaresides had them into the 80s.

with factor sheetmetal beds, mid '80's with aftermarket flatbeds its still an option today

i think that in 73 when they changed the body style was the last year for chevy.

i had a 1979 short box step side with wood floor

I think it was an option on Chevys. My son"s 1970 Fleetside has metal bed, my other son"s 1982 Stepside has a wood bed.
Go figure.

Of course my old 1949 GMC has wood bed.
