woods 59 belly mower???

Hello again fellows, my woods mower question is i believe the difference between the woods L59 and the woods 59 mower is the "L" stands for left hand discharge and the woods 59 is right hand discharge.
im taking my woods 59 off my farmall cub and putting it on my allis "B" i know i need different idler brackets and deck brackets but i just want to make sure i do not need to put a twist in the belt
to make it go the correct way...also any of you ever used a woods 59 on a allis "B" rather than the most common "L" 59???thanks for your help in advance...

thanks,
Gary

The PTO on a Farmall cub spins the opposite way of the PTO on your Allis does so you need to do something about that or the blades will spin back wards

You will always have a twist in a woods 59 or 59L mower belt. They do not have a cross over twist if that was what you were thinking. I have both 59 and L 59 and the different direction of the blades is how the belt is threaded at the mower. The tractor brackets I have are somewhat different but the pulleys to tighten the belt are in the same places. Both will work on either mower. With the belt guards off you can kinda figure it out buy looping the belt over the pulleys and watching which way the blades turn.

This is the Right hand turn 59.

Another thing about right hand and left hand exhaust for the grass also has to do with which way the blade spins. On the cub it exhaust out the right due to the direction it spin and left on the others for the same reason

a. Saw your photos of woods mower with right hand throw. Could you post more photos from different angle. I have allis chalmers with same setup and is experiencing problems. Such as belt twist and alignment. Thank you in advance. I was glad to see a setup the same as mine.
