I am trying to repair my neighbors mower that the front half of the pto shaft disappeared after an auction. I was wondering if there was any type of clutch on that part of the shaft or if it was just a shaft and joint. Thanks in advance.

The clutch should be on the back half if it has 1 otherwise the bolt holding the rear u-joint to the shaft on the gear box is a shear pin. Good luck matching the shaft that is gone with out giving lots of money to your Woods dealer.

I can get all the parts from TSC with a little modification. Just needed to know if it had a clutch or not. Thanks for the info.
