Work bench on wheels

I was working on the Farmall C.
I like parking a workbench on wheels next to where I'm working to hold the tools and parts.

I used two pallets that were covered with plywood to make this workbench.

The only thing I bought were the wheels. The rest was made with used lumber.

Junk seems to collect on the bottom shelf.

Looks like that one leg is from a bunk of plywood or lumber.

Everytime I go to the big box lumberyard, I collect all of those that I see for free.
They come in handy for a lot of projects.

I read about a BTO who built a huge shop, and all of the benches were on wheels. He claimed benches just collect junk(true)and the ones on wheels would self unload moving them across the floor! I don't know,all of my benches are full of junk,of course I don't have enough floor space to move a bench.

Very handy! I've made a bunch of wheeled workbenches by taking old bbq grills that were being thrown away, take off the top and put on a piece of plywood. Simple, cheap or free, and you can add shelves, hooks, brackets or whatever else you need. Make great gifts also--in several cases I've given them right back to the people I got the grill from originally and they were tickled to have them.

When I built my first shop I built a permanent work bench, 8 years later we moved because of a job change, so it had to stay. At the next place I built my bench on wheels, so when I retired it went with us!

I got a 4 by 8 by 6 ft tall chicken house made entirely out of used pallets.
Only thing I bought was the shingles on the roof and the nails to put it together.
It is not snake or mouse tight but a coon or opossum is not getting in.

I was going to make one several years ago but never got it made as that is when my wife died. Would probably been 10 foot long with 8 foot bench top and 1 foot deep tall cabinets on each end for long items like long pry bars or shovels, The bench top would have been 8 foot long with vice at one end and grinder on other, drawers underneath top with cabinets under for large items Then cabinets on top for wrenches and like items on hooks with a top
with a curtain to cover big enough to protect the whole front from rain as it would have been outside all summer as my work area was under a big maple tree.
