Work Bull 202 Weight

Does anyone know the weight of this machine? I know many sites say its 3060 or so pounds. I believe it weighs more than that.

Mine Has the 102-front loader 1000 LBS. (maybe)
Liquid filled rear tires 1096 LBS.
BH 9000 rear hoe 1400 LBS.

Industrial tractors were subject to being fitted with different attachments and not all attachments used were made by the tractor manufacturer. It would be impractical for a manufacturer to attempt to list a weight for every possible way your tractor could be set up. Case in point, BH9000 backhoe sounds like a Woods unit which I don't think was even built when your 202 was made. How would there be a spec sheet adding its weight to a 202?

3060 pounds was given as the bare tractor shipping weight from the factory. Then, like you did, add the weight of any attachments and ballasting (wheel weights, front counterweights, liquid filled front tires, etc.) used on a given tractor. Sometimes estimating the weights of the attachments (and round up if in doubt) is the best you will do. I think you are in the ballpark for your machine, maybe a little light. The best weight you will get is to run it across a set of scales if you need an accurate weight.

Hi Jim thanks for the reply.

Yes, I do understand the backhoe is made by Woods and it is a 1995 model year that I installed. I was merely pointing out the weight of it. The same as the rear tires which I also replaced and loaded.
The weights I listed is what I think I know.....
I also have Massey rear cast iron wheel weights MF 202 not sure on those weights.

I guess what I am looking for is, has someone actually weighed their machine and with what attachments did it have.

Sorry if I wasn't clear.

(quoted from post at 21:59:42 02/20/23) My 1962 MF 202 Owners Manual says approximately 3,350 lbs.

Thanks, I also have a 1962 s/n 307662. I'm lucky to still have the tag on it. I guess I will have to go weigh it myself sometime with the attachments all on it. I generally leave the hoe on most of the time. I have to load it backwards on my trailer to give it enough tongue weight even without the hoe on.
I did load it on forward with the York rake, but it was a mistake.
I have a 14k tilt deck trailer that work well, but it knows it's got some weight on it.

Weighing yours is the best way to get the answer you want. Even similar units may weigh more or less than yours given how it is equipped.
