Work Bull 202

Hello I am in the process of mounting a Davis D100 backhoe on my tractor. It has a skid steer mounting plate on it. I really don't want to mount it to the Three Point Hitch and was wondering if anyone else has done something similar. I think this unit may be a bit small for this tractor but it should work fine for me. Dig depth is about 8' and this uses vertical stabilizers instead of the more common fold down. Any input would be appreciated.

one my 202 with at220 davis hoe.
there are square arms coming from under the loader arms .
they hook with pins to lower part of hoe .
then there is two pipe that run over the axle housing to the frame of the loader .

Thanks that is what I thought but was not sure. I have a Davis 102 loader on mine that has two pins located aft of the box frame. I've seen some photos of the uprights going from the clutch /brake pedal area over the axle to the top of the hoes. Any chance you could get me pictures of your hoe and a length mounted away from the tractor?

not very good at this but i will try

On my 202 there are 8 connections (pins) that attach the backhoe to the loader frame: Here is a side view of the backhoe mounting "sills" (the lowest item in the picture) and the steel rod (the piece that is at an angle). Each side has a sill and rod so there are 4 connections on each side.

The sill is a 4"x4" steel tube that is about 6 feet long. On the front towards the motor there are 2 straps welded to either side of the tube. These are about 2"x 1/4" with holes that line up with the holes on the loader frame. This is connection 1.

In the middle, there are two triangular shaped 1/4" steel pieces welded to the top of the tube. These line up with holes in the rear of the loader frame. These may line up with holes on the tractor frame under the axle (I can't remember, but you will see them when you look at your tractor). This is connection 2.

A hole is drilled through rear of the tube. This hole lines up with triangular steel pieces (with holes) attached to the lower backhoe frame. This is connection 3.

The backhoe frame has triangular pieces (with holes) attached to the upper frame. This is Connection 4.

The steel rod connects from Connection 1 to Connection 4.

You can connect the sills to the tractor without the backhoe by attaching them with connection 1 and 2. The steel rod is left off.
