I know this is gonna sound silly, but here I go. My 52 8n has a headlight type work light on the back, and it blew out the other day. It is a G&E headlight type sealed beam no other markings on it. It is connected by two small screws to the wires. I searched online to see what I could find and well there is a huge selection of options. Like the new look alike old ones for $85.00 to $7.00 for plain ol sealed beam... Any suggestions ? I don't mind just using a old style sealed beam headlight, but what one to use ? Most look like 25 watt and 6 or 12 volt. Mine has been converted to 12 volt, but does that even matter ? Thanks guys for the help

It is very simple. Take your old sealed one to your local auto parts store and say I need one of those in 12 volts and they will most likely have 2 or 3 wattage's of them on the shelves. I have found that by far is the best and simplest way of getting a light that will both fit and work

Old is correct. There are so many lights that have been put on these tractors over the years that unless you know exactly what you have it would be pure luck if you purchased the correct sealed beam on line. Take it to NAPA or a good auto supply house and ask for a replacement. Tell them it is 12 volts. That does make a difference.
