Worx Jawsaw

I had a very big pepper tree break apart in the wind. I had to trim it down to almost the trunk. I had a lot of limbs to cut up to go into my dumpster, some around 4".

I already had a little 10" Worx chain saw so I already had a battery. I saw this on Worx's website and decided to try it. It's a Worx Jawsaw. I got it today and went out to give it a try. I absolutely love this thing. It will saw limbs up to 4" There is no kind of kickback since the limbs are held against the jaw teeth when cutting. Basically, you put the jaws over the limb you want to cut and push on the handle. Pushing on the handle moves the blade down from the larger top jaw and pins it to the teeth and the blade cuts through. With that design, you can go up to a log that's laying on the ground and place the jaws over it and just push the handle to cut the log.

This thing was well worth the $101 I paid for it. Since I already had the battery, I purchased the tool only.

I bought the boss an alligator

We went with the corded model first,
then cordless.
She cleared about 400 ft of honeysuckle
from the shore of her lake.
It's a well protected 8 inch chain saw.

It requires you use both hands to turn
on.

Looks like it requires pushing the two handles together like a pair of scissors. I don't think it would be as easy to use as the Jawsaw. With it, you just have to push on the handle for the blade to come down towards the other jaw. It's especially good for limbs laying on the ground. You just place the jaws over it and push down on the handle. There is no squeezing the handles together. Technically, although I wouldn't do it, You could do it with one hand.
