you guys are correct. its for my wd40. i never thought a person would find a new old stock filter like these. you just removed them and cleaned them and put them back in. it was packaged in 1952.

The part number on the bag looks like 29501D. The box is dated 3/4/52. The line on the bag "For Unit" can't be read because of the camera angle.

this is the fuel filter not an oil filter. here is the part number on the box. i sure dont think u will find any at any dealer, but if you do let me know.
