Recently got another old tractor pretty good shape runs some very complete still has lead wire on the governor housing bolts never seen that. Any way gas tank well the main tractor fuel tank is pretty rusty inside. I am wanting to line it with the coating . Any recommendations about brand yall prefer opinions appreciate thanks crowspond
Cool tractor. Not something we see up north. Not a Farmall, but cool anyway! I have never used a tank lining but have heard horror stories of the coating peeling. One of my Ms had a rusty tank so I threw a bunch of nuts and bolts in it along with some diesel fuel. I strapped it to the wheel of another tractor and went for a drive. It cleaned up well and is still working fine 35 years later. I know a lot of guys on here use different products to clean tanks rather than line them. Others have used the liner products successfully.

I sent the tank from a Case 700 to the radiator shop. I had to run the tank thru the car wash before they would take it. No idea what they used to seal it.
