What are the odds of the bulls horns not breaking when hitting the engine, which the left one did? You're right, we do need to be afraid of what AI can be made to do.
On the bulls horns breaking. It was for many years, without any research into the subject, that I didn't know cattle horns are hollow. With that said, I have no idea what it would take to break a horn.....and in the process what it does to the animals skull????? A gigantic head ache or worse........Grin

Here in North Mankato we are fighting to prevent a large data center from building. So we are doing our part in slowing the advancement of AI. Your welcome!!

Full disclosure,, we are doing it because of concerns about energy and water consumption, but still.

Yes cattle horns are hollow down to about 3" from their skull, then the center is somewhat like bone marrow. When dehorning a cow if the horn is cut too close it will bleed, sometimes resulting in a vet bill to stop the bleeding. Today dehorning is almost forgotten due to the breeding practices. We had a dehorning device that resembled a very large cable cutter.
I've watched 2 bulls fighting and sometimes break off a horn. The sheer power of a bull is frightening.
After watching that video several times, I don't think it's fake, the bull never hit the engine, just sheet metal.

Just don't bet the farm on your thoughts. This film was AI manipulated and I see a time when film will not be allowed in a courtroom because of the chance of it being AI manipulated.
This was human (well, with the help of AI) manipulation, but done very well.
Circumstantial evidence:
The man with the blue shirt in the background has a twin at the ending.
How was there a guy suddenly filming it, but there is no more filming after the tractor is gored?
The horns don't go through the sheet metal, just tear it up.
What kind of sideways force from the bull makes the tractor go forward?
And then, there's always this:

Hi Everyone,

The threats and confusion from AI content are very real. They are confusing our perception of reality. I will work on a post that help educate users here on how to identify what is AI, but as some comments above elude to, is it's getting harder and harder to tell the difference.

AI content can be used just for entertainment (Like the famous Bigfoot videos) or to scam you (AI Built websites). So be careful.

Focus between foreground and background look weird. herd and the other man don't seem distracted by the commotion. AI is a wonderfully deceptive thing, isn't it?😞

It’s real. I don’t know what’s involved in generating convincing AI videos but I imagine some pretty advanced computer graphics skills are required.

Why would such a person in possession of these skills be wasting their time generating content like this? “Clicks” maybe. So a bunch of guys on a tractor forum can be entertained? Unlikely.

Because it's two different things. Even if people are telling lies, that is testimony. Video is treated as physical evidence which juries tend to go with.
I am not so sure the legal system makes the distinction you make. The ability to doctor photographs and videos has existed for decades. This video is certainly not a first. When, in your opinion, will there be a blanket ban on any and all videos in court?

That's the problem, there is little skill involved. Go to the AI provider of your choice, tell it you want a video clip of this, this, and this, and it churns it out. Now, it will only do exactly what you say, so the more specific your instructions, the better the output.

Never thought I'd see 1984 become a nonfiction work, but that's where we're headed. Don't believe your lying eyes.

I don't know if they will ever be banned outright. I can see them having to be authenticated by a third party though.

I can't. This already is, and should continue to be, the job of a jury after being presented with arguments pro and con from "expert witnesses" from both sides - making the decision of whether or not presented 'evidence' is credible. God help us if some arbitrary third party is ever given such power to declare it, one way or the other.

Interesting. Didn’t know that “Joe Schmoe” could produce AI videos. Still think it’s real, however. This particular subject is not generally interesting enough for all the detail that had to go into it. And bulls do attack things; they are big, aggressive animals so even if it’s not real, somewhere a bull has done something similar.

So, you believe the video is real and the data from the AI blocker that Gambles posted a picture of, showing 51.3% AI, is fake?

My honda civic was hit in the side by heifer in Oregon. there were about 100 in the herd surrounding the car it just turned sideways into the front fender and did 1200 dollars worth of damage and zero damage to the animal. I think it is real. Jim
