I know that all ??-44' tractors are considered WW2 tractors, but what about 45'? I believe I have an "early" 1945 B... serial number 171xxx, WW2 tractor or not???

Not really. They switched back to the angle iron frame and dropped the pressure cooling. The war was over for Deere.

After the Normandy Invasion, things started to improve on the home front. 1944 was a rough year for the U.S., but we pulled through just fine. Not many restrictions on rubber, copper, and steel were subject on manufacturers in '45, which allowed for progress. 1946 and up were great years for Deere.
