Yanmar 1610d 3 Point Hitch

How much weight can the 3 point hitch pick up, without doing any harm? Thanks for any input.

Don't have a manual for a 1610 but can tell you about a 220/226 capacity. At lower link end 1168 lbs. At 24" behind lower link end 816#. I think this is suppose to be maximum lift, I would think any over this could do damage. I would think yours would be a little less than this but at least this gives you something to ponder on.

As you see from the data on the next bigger model, depends how far back the load is.

Trying to lift beyond capacity shouldn't break anything; on the other hand, the capacity assumes everything's new.

And a load carried fast over bumps could snap the hitch.
