Interested in a YM135D, looks to be in pretty good shape. Are spare parts in short supply for this tractor? Should I run in the other direction?

The machine is a US domestic sold Yanmar. Yanmar still supports it today. And there are several parts distributors too.

The YTOG has the parts manuals and the service manuals for free.

If there was a cross reference . Deere would carry some of the parts . AI parts division probably even more .

I've had my YM240 since 1990 (it's a 1977 model) and will say it is quite a workhorse. She only has about 1250 hours on her but is reliable and I don't have issues finding parts. I've had to replace some transmission parts like the differential lock fork, brakes, bearings etc and it's a real easy tractor to work on. I'm not easy on her at all (she earns her paycheck around here) which is why some of those parts had to be replaced. She is our primary tractor to run our whole house PTO generator which sometimes she does for many, many days at a time.
