year mold

Iv got a 140 farmall. The plate that was supposed to be on the left side of the bell housing is gone. They are other numbers in different places on the tractor. Will any of this numbers help me determine the year mold of the tractor? I would like to change all the fluids motor, trans, and hydraulics. What are the right lubes for it?

Look at your engine serial number.

If the engine hasn't been swapped out, that number should get you in the ball park.
