Yellow Ford 4000 tractor?

I dont know anything about tractors but I have fell in love with this machine! This was my fathers tractor of which he passed away a few years ago. He owned it for several years before trading it to his friend..... and neither knew anything about the history. It sat in a field for last few years and I just bought this tractor back a few days ago and plan on restoring it. I will hopefully know more about it after power washing it and finding any identification numbers. Im guessing it is a 1964ish? And it appears to possibly be an original yellow color instead of the typical blue/gray. I would love to completely restore it and repaint it yellow if this is true?

Any info of what I have or advice would be great!

Hello Shep.. welcome to YT! Always great to preserve a family machine. On the flat spot above the two bolt holes behind the starter is where the machine ID and serial numbers are stamped. Post a photo of that. Is it currently in running condition?

es it surprisingly runs and still operates great! I already bought all new fluids/filters so planning on changing all that first.

Super cool row crop platform with 3 point delete. Thank you for posting pictures. Hoping more knowledgable folks post about your unique machine! Neat your Dad owned it! Keep up with the maintenance, a Selecto demands it!
