Yellow Paint

I bought a quart of Tisco JD 2 cylinder classic green paint, TP215QT. Is there a "classic" yellow paint as well, or has John Deere used just one color of yellow for all the agricultural tractors - past & present? Tisco's yellow paint is TP190QT. Is this correct for my '44 JD B? Thanks!

take it back and get it at your john deere store one year from now you would have wished that's what you did.it will look bad and is very hard to take off and use the good paint. Your making more work.

The yellow is the same. I will agree with going and getting the John Deere brand paint. The John Deere paint fades differently than the other brands.

I have no business getting in there, but I agree. My opinion is some paint manufacturers get some color, say yellow, and think "Now what can we call if??? I KNOW, let's call if John Deere.!" My experience with red is just that, lots of close-but-no-cigar colors. I know Van Sickle red color is just wrong, then makes it worse by developing a nice white film just sitting in the barn, over a month or two. ....

years ago i bought tractor supply JD yellow for my B , let me tell ya , no where near JD yellow more like industrial yellow looked so bad i repainted it , some companys do ok with color match though , john deere dont make there paint either its aftermarket but i will say it matches alot better , having the same problem with an Oliver tractor now , guess ill end up at AGCO for it , tractor supply ugly green aint going to cut it , heck there deere green matches original oliver green better
