YFL 580 Loader connections

Hello,
I have almost completed reassembly of a Yanmar 169D that I have owned for many years, after stripping it down to repaint. The tractor has a Yanmar YFL 580 loader with single stick controller. Although I marked all the quick connect hoses when I removed the loader, wrapping each end in duct tape and numbering, the numbers washed off while the loader was outside. The main hoses to the controller, to and from the hydraulic system are fine, and connected properly.

Here's my question: does anyone have or know of a diagram that would show where to reconnect each of the 4 hoses coming from the loader to the controller? I've never had a manual for the loader, and it's not covered in the operator's manual. No luck on web searches or searching this forum either.

Thanks very much for any help. I don't want to do a lot of trial and error with this.

Get a set of four pairs of colored plastic rings made for this purpose. When it's correct, put the same color on both terminals.

But to get there, what's the problem with trial-and-error? Just connect them where they seem to want to go, and if you don't like the input-output connection, you should be able to do all the position-switching in one go. Or, if you find that, say, forward is up and rearward is down, you might like to keep that way -- to make it harder for someone to steal.

As I am very late to this post, I hope you have long since gotten your hoses connected to your preference.

For others that may come across this issue, my first suggestion would be to keep the raise lower dump and curl lines connected to the control valve and store the control valve with the loader. Then you only have have the lines from the tractor to deal with. A set of quick connects of either different styles or reversed if like mine you need to connect them to complete your plumbing if you remove your loader and wish to use your tractor.

If you must remove the other 4 lines, get the colored rings! But also get some colored tape, all of the big box stores generally have a colored tape item in their electrical area. Tape them different colors prior to removal and take pictures for reference of their postions.

A bit of patience and trial and error and you can get the hoses doing the function you want with the movement of the controls if you failed to mark them or your marking system failed.
