Do the 155D's normally have a front end hydraulic pump or would that be an aftermarket add-on? If an add-on, is it necessary to run a loader?

If by "front end" pump you mean an external one, that would be an add-on; the factory one is hidden inside. You don't need a supplementary pump for normal use of a size-appropriate FEL.
