YM2000 tach connection

I finally got around to figuring out what one of the disconnected wires is... it's the tachometer cable, which looks like the entire connection came out. I've looked at the parts diagram, searched videos until I'm cross-eyed and for the life of me cannot find where this was connected. Is there a YM2000 owner in here kind enough to take a pic?

I'm trying to address the little things as I decide whether or not to re-sell it. The little bucket will hold only 2 bags of feed and wouldn't raise it (100 lbs). 😔

The white smoke from the exhaust pipe concerns me and I have a feeling I won't be able to afford the repair.

That's the diagram I looked at, but can't find the connection. I don't know why I can't, it's crazy. I was out there at 3 a.m. with a spotlight looking for an opening within reach of the cable.😡

Figured out what was going on with the tach cable. The welder who was here today to look at how to modify the loader to allow opening the hood showed me. Someone apparently cut the cable, so the small piece connected to the engine wasn't what appeared to be a drainage line. I need to order a new cable, but the replacements are 42" long and my measurement indicates that's going to be too short. Possibly why the section attached to the tach was modified. I also see a tach cable for this model which is only 14" long, is that a type of extender?
